This time, the Cavaliers lost the first set 27-25 despite holding a late lead in the set. The 16th ranked Northwest Nazarene Crusaders (12-0, 4-0 GNAC) took the final two sets 25-19, 25-15. Lindsey Dorsey and Colby Barnette combined for 20 of the Cavaliers' 41 kills to lead the way for the hosts.
