The Concordia Cavaliers fell behind 2-0 and came back to force a fifth and final set, but the visiting Alaska Anchorage Seawolves took the fifth set to take the match (31-29, 25-14, 21-25, 22-25, 15-11). Concordia lost despite Colby Barnette, Lindsey Dorsey and Karly Ernster combining for 49 of the Cavaliers' 61 kills.
